Dick’s Danger Ale
English Style Dark Ale
ABV: 5.2% I IBU: 45
The Original CDA, Danger Ale is a low-key dark ale with a large percentage of black malt gives this distinctive ale its dark brown/black color and slightly roasted flavor. Combined with Magnum hops that provide a backbone of bitterness and large late additions of Mt. Hood hops lend good flavor and aroma in the finish.
Dick Danger Ale is Dick’s Brewing flagship beer and is the first beer created by late Founder, Dick Young.
Golden Ale
Blonde Ale

Golden Ale is one of the lightest beers we produce. That doesn’t mean it is light in flavor! This traditional British Golden Ale is brewed with 2-row malted barley and a touch of crystal malt, balanced with a substantial amount of hops. This recipe is one of Dick’s originals; a light, refreshing, crisp lawnmowing beer.
Grapefruit IPA
NW Style IPA (with grapefruit)
ABV: 6.2% I IBU: 80
Our Grapefruit IPA is a rich, crisp, fruit forward, dry-hopped IPA. This is the perfect summer beer. We use a trio of hops to craft this well balanced beer; Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops.
At the end of fermentation, a combination of zest, juice and natural Grapefruit flavoring are added to give this beer its’ distinct nose and grapefruity citrusy finish.
Cream Stout

ABV: 5.5% I IBU: 20
Dick’s Cream Stout is black and incredibly creamy with flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. A large portion of highly roasted black unmalted barley gives this beer its opaque black color and deep flavors. Additionally, a generous percentage of unmalted flaked barley gives this beer its unmatched creaminess. We add just enough hops for complexity.
Working Man’s Brown
Traditional Brown Ale
ABV: 5.5% I IBU: 20
A combination of two types of sweet caramel malt, lightly roasted biscuit malt, and victory malt lend depth, richness and flavor. We then added highly roasted chocolate malt giving the beer its wonderful reddish-brown color. Magnum hops gives it a clean and balanced bitterness. Mt. Hood hops are added at the end of the boil for excellent flavor and aroma.

NW India Pale Ale
ABV: 6.2% I IBU: 95
This crisp, hoppy Northwest IPA features Centennial, Cascade and Columbus hops that impart strong citrus hop flavors and aromas.
Our Northwest IPA is balanced nicely with the use of crystal and victory malt. We finished this fine IPA with a heavy dose of dry hopping to lock in the all the intense flavors and aromas. This IPA is sure to satisfy the hop heads of the Northwest, so sit back and enjoy.
Lava Rock Porter

Dick’s Lava Rock Porter is a dark and rich beer with a plethora of deep, malty flavors.
Copious amounts of caramel, chocolate and black malts are added to the mash along with enough Magnum hops to balance the malty wort. We then add two additions of Mt. Hood hops for a generous hop flavor and great aroma. The Porter is dark brown, almost black in color, with lots of body and smooth drinkability.
Pale Ale
English Pale Ale
ABV: 4.8% I IBU: 20
Dick’s Pale Ale is a mild and pleasantly approachable ale with a touch of residual sweetness.
Caramel and chocolate specialty malts are combined with premium northwest 2-row malted barley to create a light, amber colored wort. We add just enough hops for a delicate bitterness, subdued hop flavor and a nice aroma.
Irish Ale
Traditional Irish Ale

What allows this red ale to be so approachable is the Melanoidin Malt which helps create the unique “toasty” flavor. Our use of specialty grains make this beer unique and the complexity of the roasted Munich Malt and rich caramel malt give this beer its depth and richness of flavor! The intricate culmination of malt provides plenty of body and mouth feel to this gorgeous Irish style ale.

El Ricardo has a more formal name. It’s El Rey De Las Cervezas – “The King of the Beers”
A nice weather summer quaffer of a Mexican Lager. Salud!
Tenacious Haze

This isn’t the greatest beer in the world. It’s a tribute.
Copious amounts of Citra, Amarillo and Cascade hops make this a rockstar of a beer.
Silver Mullet
American Light Lager

Silver Mullet is all business in the front, but a party in the back! The mountains don’t turn blue, and neither will you. This is a crusher for the folks who grew up on the other silver macro cans.
Straight Coastin’

Straight Coastin’ is a hazy IPA with citrus notes of the California coast…. but it’s 100% built for the ashy sands of the Washington coast. Remember: Drink responsibly and never drink and drive your dune buggy.
Orange Juice Jewels

Orange Juice Jewels is our NW IPA with and orange twist! A smooth hop forward IPA, with flavors of citrus and mango. It’s then kicked into overdrive with a natural orange flavoring. Brewed with Citra, Amarillo and Cascade hops, and balanced with just enough malt.
Batch 202 IPA

202 IPA is a tropical fruit & citrus hop blend of goodness. This beer is all about hop flavor and aroma, brewed and dry hopped with Equinot, Columbus, Cascade and Simcoe.

This beer is “The One” Dick’s brew crew is most proud of.
Brewed in honor of our mentor and friend, Dick Young, we hope you knock a few back in his honor and memory. Dick loved his Danger Ale, so we thought it was fitting that we use his original recipe and make it a bit more dangerous. The Double Danger’s smooth flavor makes this beer a highly drinkable ale.
This beer doesn’t fit any category, won’t fit into some set criteria … and we like it that way.

Imperial Red
American Strong Ale

Dick’s Imperial Red is a malt bomb of a beer that brings strong caramel notes at first ending with a nice hoppy finish and hint of citrus to balance it out. The Imperial Red pours a nice reddish amber and with a lasting amber head. A few words that best describe this Imperial Irish Style Ale are caramel, malty and boozy.

Raspberry Tripel
Belgian Style Tripel
ABV: 8% I IBU: 20
This Belgian style ale is like our Belgian Tripel but we threw in a little summer twist —“a raspberry twist!” We ferment this beer with a classic Belgian yeast strain which results in a crisp, champagne-like ale. We add 240 pounds of fresh raspberry puree at the end of the fermentation to give it a tart and dry finish.

Double Diamond Winter Ale
English Strong Ale
ABV: 7.5% I IBU: 65
Dick’s Double Diamond Winter Ale combines Northwest premium 2-row malted barley and ample rich Munich malt. We add a full bag of sweet caramel malt and lots of malted white wheat, with a touch of highly roasted black barley to give complexity to this ale. To give this beer it’s backbone we add plenty of Northwest hops in the brew kettle. If you like your ales with a balanced bitterness and a nice finish try this beer to keep you toasty warm on a cold night.

Mountain Amber Ale

Dick’s Mountain Amber Ale is a classic amber ale with large quantities of two special varieties of lightly roasted malts that contribute a deep malt profile to this very drinkable and attractive ale. The bittering hop addition is designed to achieve perfect balance; not too bitter and not too sweet – just right! Large additions of Northwest flavor and aroma hops give our Amber its delicious finish which lingers on the palate.

Barley Wine
Strong Ale
ABV: 9.9% I IBU: 60
Brewing this very special, bold beer begins with a complicated mash which includes German Munich malts, lots of caramel malts, a smaller portion of highly roasted grain and even malted wheat. This grain bill creates a big beer with a deep red color and all the rich maltiness you expect with a touch of sweetness. We balance this with a strong hop backbone from some unique hop varieties which contribute plenty of flavors and aromas of their own. The result is a pint glass bursting with character.
Grand Cru
Belgian-Style Abbey Ale
ABV: 9.9% I IBU: 25
Intensely fruity and complex Belgian-style ale. This special beer is a brewing art from start to finish. A full mash tun of malted barley is required to reach the high gravity required for this style, along with a high percentage of special classic Belgian-style malt. Noble hops are added sparingly to the kettle. During the long boil special kettle sugars are added in the Belgian Tradition which lends to unique flavors in the fermenter. A classic Belgian yeast strain is pitched and the long fermentation is monitored closely as the flavors develop. The beer is then chilled and aged before being kegged and bottled.
Imperial Stout
American Style Imperial Stout
ABV: 7.5% I IBU: 45
Deep and malty. With a large quantity of specialty malts (Caramel, Black Malt, Black Barley, Chocolate, Brown Malt, Munich, Brown Malt … we threw the kitchen sink at this one) our Imperial Stout has a tremendous depth of flavor. Magnum hops are added during the boil to balance the substantial maltiness and Mt. Hood hops provide a nice spicy finish.
Belgian Triple
Tripel Style Ale
ABV: 8% I IBU: 20
Golden colored, crisp, high alcohol Belgian-style ale. Simple ingredients lead to a very complex beer in this case. Northwest two-row malt is mashed without the addition of specialty malts for a light, golden color. The Wort is lightly hopped in the kettle for minimum bitterness and Willamette Hops give the beer a subtle, hop flavor and aroma. Light sugars are also added during the boil in the Belgian tradition to achieve the desired higher alcohol percentage and unique fermentation flavor by-products. We ferment this beer with a classic Belgian yeast strain which results in a crisp, golden champagne-like ale with perceivable fruity overtones and warming alcohol undertones.

Dick’s Best Bitter is a beer you will love, a beer that you will not want to tell your friends about, obviously because you will want it all for yourself. We at Dick’s take pride in brewing a beer that will make hop heads stop for a second and realize, “hey maybe the hops don’t have to eat my face off, but they can be subtle and mellow”. Bittered heavily with Magnum hops, and finished even heavier with Mt. Hood, we find that this beer is hop forward, but still has enough malt to balance the finish.

This light bodied golden ale is full of flavor and an excellent beer for those relaxing warm days. With low bitterness and a lower ABV, it makes it a refreshing beer all year round. With a hint of sweetness it adds to the refreshing sensation of the beer.
